Recently I finished one quite interesting job. And want to share here some thoughts about my working process.
How I told before, idea, clients moodboard – the basics.
Honestly, I don’t know any photographers or another creative how can work without this little but so important details. Remember – idea and brief FIRST. I appreciate when client coming with pictures that they like. It makes his visual language much easier for everyone in that process.
Also good when you have a stylist for a shoot. Of course for difficult setups. For catalog photoshoot, I do everything by myself. But sometimes clients need flowers, food, and other details – here I need professional help. A stylist is second.
From my side, I book all necessary equipment for commercial photoshoot based on a brief and tasks. I work with Assistant. It looks that I charge client money for booking an assistant for photoshoot, but how I see from my experience – I can do two times more job when I’m working with the light assistant.
